just trying to get my act together -- better late than never
As of last month, the distance between the Earth and the moon on 6/23 will be LESS than the mileage on my Ford Ranger pickup. I have driven my truck to the moon!!!
Seriously? Okay, that is just very cool :)
My six-year-old is very excited! He's been teaching me about all of this. :)Happy Saturday!
It is kind of exciting...I love how kids get that :)Enjoy!
I hope the clouds lift so that we can see this. The picture is very impressive.
Here is Utah, it will look its biggest at 5:33 AM. Maybe I will be content to see it when it is slightly less than maximum.
I hope the clouds clear for you Jane!
Kate -- I think here it's actually similar...at 7am-ish, after it's already light out. So I think I too will be fine seeing it later in the evening, lol :)
I am looking forward to seeing the moon tomorrow as well, but only at the time I am already awake to see it! ;)My 6ws is here: http://mlissabeth.wordpress.com/2013/06/22/six-word-saturday622/
And its our shortest day here in NZ. Enjoy the Perigee moon.Dropping by from 6WSSuzy http://suzyspics.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/enjoy-life.html
