I went out today!

Ok, so yesterday I didn't make it out after all...when I changed back into my sweats after my photo I never did get up the energy for that run to the store.

But today I did!!!

Good grief, I'm celebrating a trip to the A&P, lol ;)

This was a no-brainer outfit: cardigan from NY&Co, knit tee from Kohls, distressed jeans and boots both from Target. The necklace & bracelet are from JC Penney (I think).

I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend, I know I'm really looking forward to a healthy one :D

Nice outfit even though you're not feeling well.

I want you to know that I'm inspired by your pretty necklaces from the dollar store so I've been checking out this resource. I haven't found any necklaces, but the other day I picked up a flower that was attached to a ponytail elastic. My plan was to cut it off the elastic and glue a pin back to it, but when I got home it already had one. So, I did cut the elastic off and now it's my new jewelery pin.

Thanks Sal...thanks Sheila! It's good to be FINALLY on the mend and I appreciate your well-wishes alot :)

DawnB, I'm tickled to have inspired you, and your flower pin sounds like a real neat little find :)

I often stop into dollar stores, discount joints and even a place called "Five Below" (where everything in the store is no more than $5) -- lots of times I find zip & zilch, but it's still worth a quick peek for the times I do find little treasures.

Happy hunting!

I love the green-and-turquoise color combination! It's one of my favorites.

I wanted to tell you that I really enjoy your blog, and posted a link to it in mine (Udarata Kella) ... if you don't mind? :o)
