A case of the blues

I just felt like wearing this particular shade of royal blue, much like the color of the sweater I wore yesterday. I did try another outfit on, but changed my mind-- this is what called to me so here I am in blue again.

The blouse is NY&Co -- I've worn it recently and I have it in green, too. The brown cardigan, Mossimo for Target, is a tried & true piece, also worn before.

What's new is the skirt. It's from NY&Co and was only $3.99! I didn't even try it on, just grabbed it on my way to the register. Even the woman checking me out was asking me where I found it, lol.

The belt is from Kohls (I think)...brown boots are from Target as well as the necklace. The bracelet is vintage...and look, I even have a close-up for a change:

Have a great day everyone!

The skirt is a bargain! It looks a tad long, though - could you shorten it a bit? To just at your knee?

Love the bracelet - thanks for the close-up!

That bracelet is simply lovely. Any idea what kind of stone that is?

Beautiful bracelet, and I love that that blue! WOW great find on the skirt. I just love how when you find something you love, you get it in multiples - I always felt guilty doing that but now I know I'm not alone. It actually makes perfect sense too!

Thanks everyone!

Sheila -- thank you, and yes, I agree, it does look long especially when I saw it in the photo (the beauty of daily pix!) In fact, I often have a problem deciding how long my skirts/dresses should be...I'm just never sure. Got any tips? A rule of thumb?

Kristen -- thanks...I love blue and now that I think about it this totally reminds me of that post you did on wearing one color (http://tinyurl.com/7g6fsx)...though the green lady STILL haunts me, lol.

Sal, thank you! I think the stone really isn't one, I believe it is some sort of glass...but it has a very glowing quality that I love.

Lady D -- thanks so much!

Hillary -- thank you, it was, wasn't it :)

Le Belette..thanx :D I have to admit it's a relatively new combo for me but I love it too.

Shenanigans, thank you so much for the compliment :)

Trace -- thanks! Yup, I guess I am a multiples queen...glad to know *I'm* not alone in that either, lol :D It really does make sense sometimes...it can be hard to find flattering clothes (especially for us curvy girls as you well know) so when I do find something I love if it exists in other colors or patterns that also work in my wardrobe, I gather 'em all up!

Thanks again all!!!
